Join us for our Paul Sherry Lecture
We invite you to join us for our annual Paul Sherry Lecture on Wednesday, May 24, at 7:00 PM. Our keynote speaker this year is Rev. Traci Blackmon, Acting Executive Minister of Justice and Witness Ministries of the United Church of Christ. This year we have selected the theme, “A New Civil Rights Movement,” taken from Exodus 3:12. Please join us for a reception in the Family Life Center at 6:00PM. Please RSVP by contacting Diana Scott at 216-658-4262 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Paul Sherry Lectures bring to Cleveland world-renowned scholars, ministers and public figures who are making significant contributions in the areas of faith and social justice. This lecture seeks to engage and encourage the listener to search within and ask the question, “What does the Lord require of me?” The goal of the annual lecture is to honor the ministry of Rev. Dr. Paul H. Sherry, former General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ, who is a faithful member of our congregation. It is our expectation you will leave the lecture renewed to keep the vision of what God promises and requires from us all.
