New Year’s Eve Service - December 31 - 7 p.m. - Everyone is invited to our special New Year’s Eve Worship Experience. You don't want to miss this final time of 2018 to worship God together as a church family.
Blue Christmas Worship: Wednesday December 19 - 7 p.m. - Please join us for our annual Blue Christmas Worship Service. This unique worship experience is for those who are mourning and experiencing loss at Christmas time. Whether you are feeling blue, have lost a loved one to death, divorce, or illness, or are unable to recover your health, job, or identity as you knew it, the Blue Christmas Worship Service provides a coming together of people who understand that life has seasons of sadness and that grief needs room to breathe in a safe place. Meditate by candlelight. Listen to music. Hear the words of scripture. Tell your story. Share a sweet treat with a friend. We encourage all to attend, but particularly those who have difficulty during the holiday season. We are asking those who attend to bring a small batch of cookies for a fellowship reception immediately following worship. Beverages will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact Rev. Gina Moore or Rev. Cory Jenkins (firstname.lastname@example.org).
New Church Office Hours: Closed on Fridays - As SEUCC evaluates ways to operate more efficiently while still doing God’s work, we have decided to close the church offices on Fridays. This will save 10% to 15% in utility costs for our operating budget. We made this decision by evaluating which day would impact the church calendar least, as well as impact the fewest employees. The minimal staff that normally worked on Friday will work condensed work weeks to assure that all church related business is handled appropriately. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Headen (email@example.com).
Church Office closed for the Holidays: Monday, December 24 through Friday, January 4, 2019 - In the event of a pastoral emergency, such as death, hospitalization or incarceration only, please call (216) 791-5201. Pastoral emergency voicemail messages will be returned within 24 hours. The church office will reopen on Monday, January 7 at 8:30 a.m.
SEUCC Members: Being Good Stewards of Sanctuary and Building - Your assistance and cooperation is needed. Everyone is needed to help us keep our facility clean. If you have any questions, please contact Scott Cowgill (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The Women's Association supports Ronald McDonald House: Now through December 31 - Please save your pull tabs from soda cans to benefit Ronald McDonald House through Church Women United of Greater Cleveland. You may give them to any member of the group or look for a container at the Information Center in the Atrium on Sundays. If you have any questions, please contact Thelma Visor.
