We Extend an Invitation to All

If you are looking for a church home, we are glad that you have decided to look in our direction. As a historical congregation with an emphasis on diversity, we encourage people of every culture, color, class, gender, orientation and creed to worship, engage, and grow with us. We are a warm, friendly and inviting church, with a serious commitment to being disciples of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us in online worship on Sundays at 11 a.m., or participate in any of our ongoing activities. We also encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and subscribe to us on YouTube.

Where do you hold worship services? Where is the church located?

Currently, our worship services are streamed online. You can find us each Sunday at 11 a.m. on Facebook LiveYouTube, and our website homepage. Those without computer access can also listen-in to our services via telephone by dialing 216-273-8883. Our church building, while currently closed, is located at the corner of Bluestone and South Belvoir Roads in South Euclid, Ohio (4217 Bluestone Road, South Euclid, Ohio 44121).

What time are your services?

We virtually gather every Sunday at 11 a.m. EST for an online worship service (that lasts approximately 60-minutes). We also offer various prayer programs throughout the week. Each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., we hold an intercessory prayer service, as well as a Wednesday morning prayer at 6 a.m. -- both accessible via telephone by dialing 216-273-8883, no pin required. On Thursday of each week at 12 noon, our senior pastor and teacher, the Rev. Courtney Clayton Jenkins, holds a mid-week prayer, available on Facebook and Instagram. And on Friday of each week at noon, our Director of Youth and Young Adults, Min. Valerie Wimms, holds a family prayer on Facebook Live. Various youth programs are also offered throughout the week by age group.

If I am interested in joining South Euclid UCC, how would I do that?

Immediately after each sermon, we have an “Invitation to Christian Discipleship.” If you are looking for a church home (or didn't know that Jesus Christ died for you), we invite you to join the South Euclid United Church of Christ family. There are two (2) ways you can tell us that you'd like to join our faith community:  (1) email us at revdsledge@southeucliducc.org, (2) call us at (216) 791.5200 ext 264.

Do you have services for children and youth?

Yes. As we host church exclusively online, we are also offering online programs for youth that are specific to their age group (from newborn and toddler up to college-age students). If you are interested in learning more about these online gatherings, please email youth@southeucliducc.org

Do you have Bible study or small groups for adults?

Yes. We have many opportunities for you to grow as a disciples of Christ. Growth Groups help each of us to better fulfill our mission of "transforming the lost into the found, and the found into followers of Jesus Christ who gather, grow, give, and go." Growth Groups are designed to help you develop deep-rooted relationships with God (and each other). Click here to read more and register for available classes.

I don’t know much about the United Church of Christ. I come from a different background. Am I welcome at your church?

As part of the United Church of Christ we believe that “no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.” At SEUCC, we welcome any Christian, regardless of denomination. We also encourage non-believers to join us in worship any Sunday as well. There is plenty of room for your questions.
