Serve

Don’t be a “pew potato.”

South Euclid United Church of Christ is all about having a positive impact beyond the walls of the church. Our ministries focus on improving and empowering our community. It takes each of us to do this.

Ask God to reveal to you how your spiritual gifts should be used for the betterment of the Kingdom/Kin-dom and become involved in our ministries, various activities or volunteer opportunities.

Acolytes Ministry

The acolyte ministry serves during our traditional and blended worship experiences.  These persons carry the light of Christ into the sanctuary, lights the candles at the altar at the very beginning of the worship service and extinguish the light of Christ at the end of worship service, carrying the light of Christ out of the sanctuary. This symbol represents that Christ who is light is present with us in worship and that we take Christ, the light with us into the world. Most commonly children serve as acolytes; however, we hope that adults will join this ministry team in 2015.
